Pegacorn! by potatofarmgirl Pegacorn! by potatofarmgirl
Amethyst starts tomorrow morning, Oct. 13th on DC Nation!

Doesn't look like Amethyst will be airing for awhile.
I don't know why or when, but thank you for all the support and interest!

*Alicorn comments, it's a magical creature. And that's up for debate. I'm not changing the title, one more comment about it, and I'm taking this deviation down.
Here's all the Amethyst shorts on DC Comics youtube, please leave comments if you like them. www.youtube.com/watch?v=BZTMv_…

I watched the thing, and it was great, I like how the pegacorn is more like a winged unicorn than a horned pegasus, but I wonder if there should be a diferrentiation between the two like one can be pegacorn and...unisus doesn't really sound that good so maybe the other can be alicorn after all. Also I like his plush form at the end.

Eekiwi is right, the alicorn is a unicorn's horn so calling a horned pegasus/winged unicorn an alicorn just gets confusing. I like pegacorn, I think I will use it from now on. I just found out  about Amethyst today, I should look into it more.

Personally, I use "Alacorn," as it is similar enough that people won't complain (too much) and has language to back it up!  In Latin, 'Ala' means 'Wing,' and 'Corn' means 'Horn,' so...

So, does this mean that Princess Amethyst is technically riding another Prince[ss]?  ;)

The superior animal is a Pigasus. Flying pigs, baby!

pegacorn actually is correct for real life. just here to clear some stuff, this art IS A PEGACORN. an alicorn is only from some places but in real life, an alicorn is just the HORN of a unicorn.

Pegacorn is a MUCH better name than Alicorn in my opinion. It makes more since.
By the way- THIS IS AWESOME.
