One of my friends wanted to have a "Gunbuster" drawing party. We had "Beard Papa's" cream puffs for a snack.
"Diebuster/Gunbuster 2" has some of the most beautiful space opera bg's evah. The weird holes at the bottom are there because this was drawn on 12 field animation paper. Noriko is super messed up looking, and the Nicola is there cause this started out as a bunch of bad sketches and I didn't have the heart to erase him. But I probably should have, he's pretty ugly. I don't know why Dix-Neuf is so purple. Nono's arms are too long, maybe she's trying to be like Noriko's left arm? Poop. Blah, blah, blah, blaaaaaaaaaaah........... |

a) my fav gainax characters always die
and
b) why can't gainax have a good show with a, non heavy loss, non depressing, or non bitter sweet ending.Even the cutesy series seem to have a " not the happy ending but a non depressing ending either" kind of ending that make me feel a little bit...empty.
